Eric R. Smith
Eric. R. Smith is an accomplished real estate professional in the Southern California area. To date, Eric has been involved in nearly 1,000,000 square feet and over $75,000,000 in commercial real estate transactions. Eric attributes his early success to applying the traits he acquired in the military: strategic planning, uncompromising drive and complete focus on the mission. Eric graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) on an Army ROTC scholarship and was immediately commissioned into the Army National Guard as a 2nd Lieutenant upon graduation. While awaiting flight school, Eric taught 5th grade Special Education and completed a Master's Degree as part of Teach for America. After completing his teaching and educational commitments, he attended flight school at Fort Rucker, Alabama and graduated as an Honor Graduate of his class. He went on to fly as a pilot on the UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter and performed a variety of Officer level jobs as Platoon Leader and Operations Officer. Having exited the military, Eric Smith then joined a leading Industrial and Office Brokerage team in Orange County where he set to work and was quickly awarded the company's "Grinder of the Year" award as the hardest worker in the office. He also gained admittance into the prestigious NAIOP Young Professional Group (YPG) program. Eric continues to strive for professional excellence as a candidate member to the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) societies.
